Minneapolis – January 10, 2017 – Northern Veins Vascular Clinic (www.northernveins.com) has joined Fairview Physician Associates (FPA) Network, comprising more than 2,500 providers in the Twin Cities and beyond. Northern Veins Vascular Clinic, founded in 2016 by Dominic Plucinski, MD, offers a variety of clinical services aimed at promoting optimal vein and vascular health. These services include consultations, vascular ultrasound and total vein care.
Plucinski brings 25 years of experience in interventional cardiology to the practice. He was a partner with Cardiovascular Consultants, Ltd., at North Memorial Hospital, as well as founder and director of the North Heart Team Stat Acute Myocardial Infarction interventional program. He also has served as medical director of the University of Minnesota Physicians Vascular Clinic, Vascular Lab and Vein Treatment Program.
“While we recognize the growing need for vein treatment and vascular medicine as the population ages,” said Plucinski, “we treat many younger patients, as well. As an independent medical practice, we are proud to provide our patients with excellent care.” Plucinski is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases (Cardiology). In addition, he is a diplomate of the American Boards of Echocardiography, Vascular Medicine, and Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
Northern Veins Vascular Clinic, located at 14300 Nicollet Court, Burnsville, Minn., provides office-based therapy for spider veins, varicose veins, edema (swelling), lymphedema, venous dermatitis (hyperpigmentation), eczema and venous ulcers. Plucinski sees patients from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. New patients are welcome. Appointments can be made at 952-920-0092.
